Engineered for precise charge density, optimal molecular weight, and rapid dissolution rate across diverse industrial applications.
Leading global manufacturing standards, patented bio-catalytic polymerization, and uncompromising quality assurance systems.
Established in 2011 within the Free Trade Zone of Qingdao, China, Qingdao Oubo Chemical Co., Ltd. operates as a world-leading manufacturer and global supplier of high-molecular-weight Polyacrylamide (PAM). Utilizing strategic port connectivity, Oubo delivers unmatched supply chain reliability to over 80 countries spanning North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Our enterprise maintains a strict, comprehensive Quality Control (QC) infrastructure that has driven a sustained annual business growth rate of over 10% for the past decade. By breaking through an annual capacity of 50,000 Metric Tons, Oubo guarantees volume availability and consistent batch-to-batch polymer performance for world-scale industrial clients.
Moving beyond traditional chemical methods, Oubo implements advanced, patented biological enzymatic synthesis to produce Acrylamide monomer—the fundamental building block of high-purity PAM. This green chemistry technology minimizes unreacted monomer residues, lowers energy consumption, and reduces operational carbon footprints.
Fully certified under ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and aligned with global environmental protection standards, Oubo invests over €200 million cumulatively in ongoing chemical R&D. We provide specialized technical teams who participate directly in pre-sales analysis, jar testing, on-site trial runs, and post-sales process optimization.
Polyacrylamide (CAS 9003-05-8) is a synthetic, water-soluble linear resin formed by the polymerization of acrylamide monomers. It acts as a primary flocculant, coagulant aid, rheology modifier, and drag reduction agent.
Synthesized by copolymerizing acrylamide with cationic monomers such as DAC (Acryloyloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride) or DMC (Methacryloyloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride). CPAM carries a positive charge in aqueous solutions, making it ideal for negatively charged organic solids.
Formed by copolymerizing acrylamide with acrylic acid or through partial hydrolysis of polyacrylamide (HPAM). Carrying a negative charge, APAM excels at bridging positively charged inorganic suspended solids in neutral or alkaline pH environments.
Homopolymerized pure acrylamide with minimal ionic charge functionality. NPAM forms strong hydrogen bonds with particle surfaces, operating with high efficiency under acidic, saline, or complex chemical conditions where ionic polymers lose activity.
| Polymer Type | Appearance | Molecular Weight (Million) | Degree of Conversion / Charge | Solid Content | Dissolving Time | Residual Monomer |

From municipal water infrastructure to deep oil reservoirs, Oubo PAM products deliver optimal solid-liquid separation and fluid rheology performance.
PAM accelerates settling rates, clarifies effluent water, and maximizes cake dryness in sludge dewatering units (belt presses, decanter centrifuges, chamber filter presses).
Functions as a wet-end retention aid, drainage promoter, anionic garbage catcher, and strength agent. Reduces fiber loss, saves raw material costs, and improves paper sheet formation.
Used in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) to increase water injection viscosity, sweep efficiency, shale stabilization, friction reduction in hydraulic fracturing, and fluid loss control.
Essential for coal washing, copper, gold, iron, alumina, and nickel tailings dewatering. Rapidly settles fine particulate slurries and recycle circuit process water.
Specially formulated food-grade APAM speeds up the clarification and flotation of raw sugarcane and sugar beet juices, precipitating non-sugar impurities rapidly.
Provides high de-colorization efficiency and rapid sludge flocculation for complex dye house effluent streams containing residual pigments, sizing agents, and surfactants.

Pioneering next-generation water-soluble polymers designed to meet hyper-stringent environmental laws and industrial efficiency requirements.
Driven by modern environmental regulations (REACH, EPA, EU Directives), Oubo is advancing third-generation microbial enzymatic processes that consistently keep free unreacted Acrylamide Monomer (AMD) levels below 250 ppm. This makes our PAM series safer for sensitive municipal drinking water applications and eco-sensitive discharge zones.
To conquer extreme oilfield environments in deep reservoirs, Oubo has engineered high-salinity and high-temperature resistant HPAM variants. Incorporating hydrophobic monomers and sulfonate structures prevents viscosity thermal degradation even in formation waters exceeding 100,000 ppm TDS and temperatures over 90°C.
Reducing polymer dissolution times from 60 minutes down to under 25 minutes via micro-powder surface modification. Coupled with inline laser floc-size sensors, Oubo’s smart polymer dosing systems reduce dosage consumption by up to 20% while maximizing dewatering speed.
Expert guidance on polyacrylamide selection, dissolution procedures, storage shelf-life, and order logistics.
Selection depends primarily on the electrical charge of the suspended particles in your wastewater or slurry. Organic sludges (such as municipal sewage, biological treatment waste, food industry effluent) carry negative surface charges and respond best to Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM). Mineral slurries, inorganic suspensions, silica clays, and neutral/alkaline mineral processing waters require Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM). Highly acidic effluent or complex saline solutions perform best with Nonionic Polyacrylamide (NPAM). We strongly recommend conducting preliminary benchtop jar testing with our sample kit to pinpoint exact charge density and molecular weight.
Polyacrylamide dry powder should typically be dissolved into an aqueous solution at a concentration of 0.1% to 0.3% (w/v) (e.g., 1 to 3 grams of polymer per liter of clean water). Water temperature should ideally be between 20°C and 40°C. Stirring speed must be moderate (200 – 400 RPM) to prevent molecular chain degradation through high shear force. Standard dissolving time is between 45 to 60 minutes until no clear gel fish-eyes remain.
When stored in its original sealed, moisture-proof packaging in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse (below 35°C), dry Polyacrylamide powder has a shelf life of 24 months. Once dissolved in water, working liquid solutions should be used within 24 to 48 hours, as aqueous polymer chains naturally hydrolyze and lose viscosity over time.
Oubo Chemical is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Our polyacrylamide products strictly comply with EU REACH registration guidelines, NSF/ANSI Standard 60 (for drinking water treatment components), and international environmental protection limits for residual acrylamide monomer (< 0.05% max, with high-purity grades < 0.025%). SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and COA (Certificate of Analysis) are provided with every shipment batch.
